Description

This is what you get punished with when you image galaxies at a 92% illuminated moon through thin crossing haze without filter. It took about three hours to integrate frames worth 60 minutes.

On top of this wind gusts and a contaminated DSLR sensor (need to take the trouble and make flats).  On a positive note, the edge distortion through the Celestron 0.63x reducer was not that significant in that I did not need to crop that much but some more playing with back flange distance can't harm.

This image is an insult to AstroBin but also the grand opening of my galaxy season. Best viewing experience with low monitor brightness and without zooming in. You are welcome to post comments as lousy as the picture.
